There are really very few beds that are truly fabulous. So you have to take matters into your own hands. You could have a gorgeous bed head specially upholstered, but the easier, cheaper option (which is perfect if you're renting) is to create your own bed head. I bought a gorgeous roll of Florence Broadhurst wallpaper some years ago, because I loved it so much. For The Second Home (aka my little flat in Birmingham), I cut some of it into the shape of a bed head and attached it to the wall with blu-tac. Dead easy.
Another way of achieving the same result is with fabric like this one below from Design Sponge
Or you could use wall stickers like this (check out www.supernice.co.uk for loads of options)
You can cut paper or material into whatever shape you like. When you get sick of it, just change it!
Ta-dah!

It looks fabulous Lex. I saw the post on Design Sponge as well which looks a bit more tricky - think your take is more achievable! Good luck in Birmingham - hope you have lots of winter woolies to survive the cold.
Oh that's a fab idea, very simple. I may do this!!!
Love it, especially the yellow one (very into yellow and great at the mo, I feel Don Draper would approve).
